Clarity work for the transitioning & confused

A time of information overload & rapid shifts…

We are in a pivotal, transformational time at an individual to collective level.

All the information and stimulation is at our fingertips from war, climate, social justice, AI emergence, innovation happening at lightning speed, and so much more.

Astrologically speaking, we are in the beginnings of the Aquarian age, marking a new turn towards faster innovation and technology, humanitarian driven efforts and higher collective consciousness.

Speaking of the current times, we are in a 9 year in numerology, marking the closing of a nine year cycle and a surfacing of a new dawn in 2026. Indigenous communities predict times of immense change, falling and a new world emerging. Military communities have eyes on even more conflict and heightened international tension within the coming years (yeah, more...)

Additionally, you have your own world to tend to. All the inner processing, the work you have to do to sustain yourself and potentially others. Your families, friends, coworkers, communities...Your healing and your ambitions.

It's challenging to know where to direct our attention when everything seems important. And it's overwhelming and discouraging sometimes to even think about how we could be of any help considering everything that's happening.

Because of this overwhelm, we follow what has been set up for us. And what is set up for us is to be a contributing member to a society that just does not work anymore. It's fast, logic and structure-driven, and ego-centric. Most of which are good to an extent, but not when it compromises our sense of self and ability to connect, have space, flow or aliveness.

That leaves those who are more heart centric, creative and community driven to feel lost and confused.

More and more individuals are taking the leap to directing their efforts from corporate, government or industries that feed agendas that dont align well with their internal values, to pursuing more meaningful and aligned work. (That's not to say you can't do meaningful work in those industries. I do deeply feel if you want to change a system you have to be a part of it, we just can't get consumed by it.)

The problem is, we don't know where to start because we were never taught how to be ourselves or choose for ourselves.

All we've known is to study at formalized institutions, get a job that you are somewhat interested in (but subconsciously was directed by societal pressures) and provides "security" or the appearance of good standing and status. Then to keep within the limitations of this said job or hop around to other jobs while keeping quiet about the ever present pain that gnaws at you to do something different..to be different than what you are forcing yourself to be.

Instead of directing our efforts toward that feeling looking, inward and breaking free, we often become anxiety ridden, depressed, uncertain and reactive instead. We fix boredom, pain and discomfort with escapism because we don't know how to work in alignment with who we are or, when it comes down to it, how to truly live.

And that's where I was.

Where do heart-centric individuals direct our efforts??

My Escape

Being lost, confused & unaligned in my military career landed me in an emergency mental health appointment after days of not being able to bring myself into work in my last year of active duty.

I pushed myself constantly and worked all the time to the point of being addicted to it. I binge drank, blacked out frequently, came home with strangers or would always be planning my next solo travel trip to escape my environment, stresses or my own mind. And my mind was always busy which meant there was not much space for seeing who I really was.

Until I decided to leave. Not just the military, but the way I was living.

I give a lot of credit to making this decision to my beginnings in mindfulness practices, meditation and yoga to actually get me out of the cycle I was in. But even so, at that time I thought it was the military's fault for bringing me down such a deep hole, when really I just wasn't clear on who I was, what I wanted and how I was meant to contribute meaningfully to this world.

Know you. Know your path.

You can't do what you are called to or meant for without knowing what it is. And you can't know what it is if you do not know your own self.

Clarity work is inner work and personal development but with the scope of honing in on your path and the work you are meant for through these means of clarifying who you are.

It is a life long process of crossing thresholds, deconstructing what you have known, filtering out distractions, finding resonance with who you are, and reconstructing your life to align with true self.

It is vital work that we often choose to skip over in order to get quicker results or tend to those fear or insecurities of not being enough to step into your own path. These fears are brought to you by your upbringing or how you've come to experience and learn from the world.

But those who are brave enough to step back, divert from the hamster wheel and take that step into the unknown are able to see that there is more for you. There is more to you that is hidden underneath the masks we all try to wear and doing the work to pull yourself away from the clutter aligns you with a life that is more than you could imagine.

How to start your clarity process:

I would say if you have made it this far in reading, you are on the path to breaking free and pursuing a life of meaning, alignment and higher service.

So what do you do with all of these constructs you've been living by, the mass amount of distractions and the fears that create obstacles when pursuing this clarity process?

First, you make the decision to find clarity.

Deciding is powerful.

It means your are fully in and devoted to becoming more you. Half-assing your way through life will only make for a half-lived life.

Give yourself space.

Take time away to do nothing, be in nature and fully be with yourself.

If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend taking up a meditation practice. There are so many videos online, apps or simply closing the eyes and concentrating on your breath for a few minutes is perfect. (*This month I will be releasing some free meditations and playlists to get you started)*.

Giving yourself space allows you to listen internally for your guiding path instead of all the external stimulation from others.

Discover you

Look into your astrology, personality tests like Myer Briggs or Enneagram, Human Design, Numerology etc. Look into anything that allows you to see parts of you that you wouldn't take the time to observe yourself if you didn't have a structure or insight.

If you'd like to book an Aligned Path Astrology Reading with me see HERE.

I used astro-seek.com to generate birth charts. Below your chart will give you a little summary that is a good starting place.

Find what resonates with you and further investigate or implement your learnings into your life. This process can be fun but if done in a passive way won't bring any change to your circumstances.

Dedicate time for writing or other creative practices

Tapping into a creative, flow state allows for your mind to operate different than just the normal waking state that this culture is obsessed with (more on mind state in my next newsletter). New pathways are found, new ideas formed. You are able to reveal the possibility of your expression and it helps to develop your focus.

Question yourself. Every. Single. Day.

Who are you? What environments do you thrive in? What environments are not meant for you? What stories are you telling yourself that keep you stuck in certain cycles? What do you love to do? What brings you fulfilment? What frustrates you? What is work that comes easy to you that you don't consider work? What kind of world do you want to see?

Stop looking for answers and instead start asking the right questions. The right question will lead you down the aligned route.

Your ability to do these simple things allows you to operate on a higher frequency of truth. That in itself helps the collective rise up.

But by continuing to get clear on your path with small compounding actions will create unimaginable ripple effects into the lives around you and beyond. More of what you are meant to do and the people that are supposed to be in your space will naturally emerge.
